We've gathered answers to the most common questions our customers have about ordering, shipping, returns, and our warranties. Whether you need help tracking your delivery or understanding our customization options, we're here to make your experience as smooth as possible.
Production, Delivery & Assembly
How long does it take for my products to be made and delivered?
Production and delivery time varies depending on the item(s) ordered, your customization options and your location. We always aim to complete your order within 6-8 weeks from the date of your order. Delivery depends on your location but is generally 1 to 2 weeks. After completion of your order, we will contact you with delivery
options.
How much is shipping?
Shipping inside the 48 contiguous United States is available for a flat rate of $200 per piece. This includes Appointment delivery via liftgate service to a residence. Additional white glove delivery which includes room placement and packaging removal is more
and requires a quotation for your area.
Can I pick up my order direct from Castellano?
Yes! If you live within driving distance of Castellano in Portland Oregon, you can arrange to pick-up directly from our showroom/warehouse at 220 N Columbia Blvd, Portland, OR 97217. You can discuss this option during the shipping discussion with the
Castellano representative. We do require that you have a vehicle capable of transporting the furniture and that you pick it up within a week of completion during our shipping hours of 8:00- 10:00 and 10:30-2:00 Monday-Friday. We will help you load your packaged furniture. We enjoy meeting our customers during this time to discuss any questions you may have about the unloading or care of your furniture. Additionally, if you would like, we can put you in contact with local delivery services who can pick
your order up for you and bring it to your house.
How can I track my Delivery?
You will receive an email with our delivery service tracking details of your order. The shipping company will be in contact with you to schedule a delivery appointment to your residence.
Does someone need to be home to accept your Furniture delivery?
Yes. It is necessary for someone to be available to accept delivery as we use services who require a signature as proof of receipt. Our shipments are by appointment, so a representative of our shipper will be in touch to schedule your delivery appointment.
My items haven’t arrived yet. What can I do?
A representative will be in touch regarding the shipment of your order after it is completed. Once the order has shipped you will receive information from your delivery
carrier to schedule a delivery appointment. Allow up to 2 weeks from the day you receive the shipping confirmation. Please contact us if your carrier does not contact you for delivery. Email us at web@castellanofurniture.com
Do I assemble my product(s)?
Castellano Custom pieces are uniquely designed. Many of them ship with their legs unattached. In this case, the legs can be easily assembled by screwing the legs onto the bottom holes on the piece. It’s advisable that you have someone to assist during the
assembly. If Option 2, White Glove Service is requested, the assembly will be included, and you can begin enjoying your custom piece immediately.
Order Modifications & Returns
What if I want to modify or cancel my order?
Castellano custom builds your furniture creation. If you contact us shortly after ordering (1-2 days) we will make best effort to make changes to your order. Please contact us via email at web@castellanofurniture.com with your order number and we will do our
best to help with your changes.
How do I change my shipping address after my order has been placed?
Prior to shipment, simply email web@castellanofurniture.com with the address change.
If the order has already been shipped, we will do our best to work with the shipping agency to make the modification but may not be able to modify the address without
delays or possible extra cost.
How will I know how my order is progressing?
Once your payment is received, your purchase is sent directly to our in-house manufacturing. You will receive three emails regarding the status of your order. You will be contacted at the following stages:
Once your payment has been accepted. An order summary will be sent to you via e-mail. Castellano will then begin to manufacture your order. Please review this information carefully and if there is anything that does not seem right, please contact us so we can review and correct the order.
Once your order is manufactured by Castellano and is ready to be shipped, a Castellano representative will contact you regarding shipping alternatives to your address.
Once your order has shipped, the shipping company will call or e-mail you to schedule
a time for you to receive the furniture to your home.
Can I return my purchase?
Castellano is dedicated to providing exceptional customer support. However the order you have made is a custom product made specifically for you and cannot be returned.
What if the furniture doesn’t fit in my space?
We recommend you measure your space with a tape measure to be sure everything will fit as you want it to. Because this is custom furniture, it is possible to make length or other adjustments to your piece before it is ordered.
What if my product doesn’t fit in my house?
We recommend you measure with a tape measure all doorways or tight hallways etc. to be sure the items that you order will be able to be delivered. Due to the unique custom
nature of the orders, Castellano Custom Furniture does not provide refunds or exchanges. Because this is custom furniture, it is possible to make length or other adjustments to your piece before it is ordered so if you have questions or concerns about the items you want to order, please contact us at web@castellanofurniture.com and we will work with you.
Does Castellano Custom Furniture provide refunds?
Due to the unique custom nature of the orders, Castellano Custom Furniture does not provide refunds or exchanges.
What are the shipping charges in case of shipping damage or warranty returns?
In the case of shipping damage or there is a problem with the product(s) and you have a warranty claim, please contact us by email at web@castellanofurniture.com with the order number and nature of the defect. Typically obvious and visible freight damage has to be noted before the delivery driver leaves. Photos may be requested to support the assessment of your claim. If the claim is accepted, we will arrange a replacement, store credit, or a refund for the item(s). Some problems can be remedied using local sources and the scheduling of the re-work technician will need to be made; however, if the item(s) need to be returned to our facility for rework/replacement Castellano or the shipping company will cover the associated freight costs within the first year of receipt.
I need to return an item(s), but I don’t have the original packaging. Now what?
If an item is faulty, but you are no longer in possession of the original packaging, the return claim can still be submitted. Where the original packaging is either damaged or no longer suitable to protect the product once shipped, you must arrange by whatever means to have the product(s) safely and securely packaged before being picked up by our delivery partners. Castellano may be able to assist you in finding adequate packaging suitable for transport of the item(s).
Warranty
Notice:
These warranties extend only to the first consumer purchaser. Normal wear and tear of furniture is not covered, neither is furniture which has been subject to abuse or improper care, negligence, acts of God, fire, accident, etc. All are beyond the scope of this warranty.
These Limited Warranties provide coverage to the original purchaser and do not apply to rented, business, commercial, institutional, or other non-residential uses. These Limited Warranties do not apply to any merchandise purchased “as is” or second-hand nor any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance, cleaning, or care.
What are your Warranty Terms and Conditions?
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Frame and Spring Construction
Covering manufacturing defects such as broken, split, or separated rails, loose or broken glue joints, loose or broken staple joints, warpage, broken or missing corner blocks, and broken or missing leg plates. Also, manufacturing defects resulting in broken, weak, or noisy spring construction. (This coverage does not apply to frames exposed to improper humidity levels, excessive heat, or extreme temperature variances.)
2.75lb. Density Cushion Cores (Optional)
Covering loss of foam resiliency, loss of filling materials through a loose or open seam, shifting of padding materials. Note: Loss of foam resiliency should not be confused with softening, which occurs through normal use and aging. All foam and filling will soften, flatten, and conform with use – this is normal and is not considered a manufacturing
defect.
FIVE-YEAR WARRANTY
Standard (2lb.) Density Cushion Core Foam
Covering loss of foam resiliency, loss of filling materials through a loose or open seam, shifting of padding materials. Note: Loss of foam resiliency should not be confused with softening, which occurs through normal use and aging. All foam and filling will soften, flatten, and conform with use – this is normal and is not considered a manufacturing
defect.
Comfort Cloud Cushions
Comfort Cloud cushions are made up of a foam core wrapped in an envelope filled with a polyester ball fiber. The loss of resiliency should not be confused with a slight softening or flattening of cushions that will occur with the normal use of this product.
Comfort Cloud cushions must be fluffed and flipped on a regular basis to help maintain their shape.
ONE-YEAR WARRANTY
Workmanship
Covering seams, tailoring, buttons, and exposed finished wood parts. (This does not cover damage in the home to exposed wood.)
Legs, Casters and All Mechanical Portions
Covering splitting of legs and casters, and malfunctions or breakage of mechanisms and rocker bases.
Sleeper Mattresses, Mattress Covers and Deck Pads
Covering the loss of resiliency of mattresses, and seam slippage on mattress covers and deck pads.
Note: Mattresses folded inside mechanisms will become creased at fold lines. This is normal and not considered a manufacturing defect. Also, as with cushion cores, mattresses will soften with use.
Standard mechanisms and Standard and Deluxe mattresses are warranted for a period of one year against defects in material or
workmanship.
Upholstery Fabrics & Leathers
Fabrics are purchased from various fabric mills and tanneries; these mills, however, do not guarantee their fabrics against wear, fading, stretching or shrinkage.
Even so, we feel an obligation to give our customers a limited warranty on the fabrics you have selected for your furniture. Under normal conditions and use, we warrant the fabrics for one year.
The warranty does not cover fading, pilling, stretching, shrinkage,
or where there is evidence of heavy soiling. Chemical treatment with any protective coating by the consumer voids all warranties from both the fabric mill and Castellano
Custom Furniture.
(Notice – partial fabric replacements may vary in color from the original fabric due to normal usage and dye lot differences).
The leather warranties do not cover any damage or failure of the leather resulting from excessive wear, consumer wear and tear, soiling, pets, and improper or unapproved
cleaning methods. The warranty does not cover pilling, stretching, shrinkage, or where there is evidence of heavy soiling. Any use of such improper or unapproved cleaning methods voids all warranties from Castellano Custom Furniture. Additionally, the leather
warranty does not cover any damage to the leather resulting from exposure to sunlight/heat – leather will fade, crack/deteriorate due to excessive/continuous direct
sunlight/heat exposure.
The natural beauty of leather means that no two pieces of leather are exactly alike. As such, natural markings and grain variations, and markings are not considered defects.
Deluxe Sleeper Mechanisms and Air Dream Mattress
Deluxe mechanisms are warranted for a period of three years against defects in material or workmanship. Air Dream mattress bladder and motor are warranted for a period of one year.
TO OBTAIN SERVICE UNDER THIS WARRANTY
Warranty service is handled through Castellano Custom Furniture. Should service be needed, contact web@castellanofurniture.com. An inspection may be necessary to
evaluate the status of the furniture and the application of the warranty and will likely require pictures of the issue and a description of the problem. After receiving Castellano Custom Furniture authorization, we will send replacement parts, schedule repair through a local service agency or return it to the Castellano Custom Furniture
factory for repair or replacement. Castellano Custom Furniture transportation responsibility is limited to the first year and to the transportation between the purchaser and the factory. Outside of the U.S.A., warranty is limited to replacement parts only.
Castellano Custom Furniture guarantees to the first purchaser that we will repair or replace, in our opinion, any part of our product which fails to perform due to
manufacturing defects within the specified periods measured from date of purchase.
(Proof of purchase is required.)

Pricing, Special order and Customization
What payment methods do you offer?
Castellano accepts major credit cards, Paypal and Apple Pay directly and/or through our service provider via internet sales.
What can I customize?
Customization options vary depending on the product you have selected. You will be able to select the size, shape, material and color of the components and we will let you know about feasibility and cost. Then we can produce it for you. The best approach for customizations (not readily available via the website) is to contact us with a special- order request email and we can discuss what options may be available.
Can I request fabrics that are not in the Castellano Custom Furniture offering?
In your special-order request email, you can specify a fabric/color and Castellano will decide if it is possible and send you an email about price and delivery time. Some fabrics may look pretty, but may also be unfeasible for your best application, in this case we may be able to direct you to another fabric choice which suits your overall usage and aesthetic needs.
Can I request custom dimensions for my product?
Yes, with products ordered as a special-order.
How can I match materials and finish from an earlier purchase with my next?
Castellano Custom Furniture does improve and change designs over time. Depending on when the original item was purchased there may have been modifications to our products. All original purchase information would have been outlined in the receipt that was sent to you from Castellellano. Please email us, state the email address that was used to make your purchase, and we will supply your previous order information if possible. In the case of a changed product, or a discontinued item, we will do our best to match the item if possible.
How do I purchase multiple quantities of the same design?
To purchase quantities of the same design, simply add your item to your cart and edit ‘quantity’.
